Liam’s Lucky Lady has settled in just wonderfully. She came with no issues other than just being a slow poke. Since the day she arrived she’s given us no other reason to think otherwise. She wasn’t even in a rush to unload off the trailer. She has a very laid back and sweet personality. Not only to humans but to horses as well as she’s proving to be a gentle pasture mate for a mare with some mobility issues.
While our trainer is currently laid up, another trainer did have a opening in her schedule to take her for a first post-track ride. She described her as soft, willing, quiet and a bit lazy. What a surprise! This girl rode around the ring like she had been ridden for years. After a few times around the ring, Lady wanted to naturally drop her head and putter around. Standing 16 hands with room to grow and fill out, she’s already a beauty but will certainly be a stunner as she matures. She would make a lovely hunter pleasure type and a fantastic partner for anyone who enjoys a laid back lady.
