James Gallo

James Gallo Jr. graduated from New Jersey City University in Jersey City, New Jersey with a Business Management degree in 2018. Born in Long Branch, New Jersey, Jimmy was raised in Oceanport, home of Monmouth Park Racetrack. In 2012, he began his career working in the mailroom for Darby Development who operates Monmouth Park. Two years later, he began working in Guest Services. In 2018, he became manager of the parking department. And in 2020, Jimmy transitioned to the role of Benefits Coordinator for the New Jersey Thoroughbred Horsemen’s Association, where he assists the needs of those who he calls the backbone of the industry, the stable employees. Jimmy assists the NJTHA in providing workers compensation, medical benefits, and benevolent needs for hot-walkers, grooms, and exercise riders in the Monmouth Park stable area.
