Mission Statement
Second call is a 501c3 non-profit Thoroughbred adoption, placement and retirement program dedicated to New Jersey’s off the track Thoroughbreds. Our mission is to help retired racehorses find a second career and loving home. Horses accepted into the program are evaluated, rested, and rehabilitated as needed. The Thoroughbreds are then placed with qualified adopters to begin their chance at a second career.
