Fleet Valid

TB, CH, G, foaled March 9, 2003 in Florida

By Montbrook

Pensioned and living in Maryland

Fleet Valid, or “Fleetie” as we like to call him, raced 28 times and was in the money 20 of those starts earning $382,516.  A member of the 2006 crop of 3 year-olds, early in his career he found himself next to a Kentucky Derby starter.  That horse was Barbaro.  The two became attached and Fleetie became Barbaro’s stable pal.  He ran at Churchill Downs the day Barbaro won the Derby and again on that fateful day at Pimlico.

After that he went on to run for three more years and then was retired.  Barbaro told him that he was  special and he still knows it, demanding attention from his people and living the life that he deserves pensioned in Maryland!  We’re proud to have him as our oldest pensioner!
